This course helps students develop the conceptual, human relations and technical skills needed to perform the supervisory function successfully in all types of organizations: manufacturing or service, profit or non-profit. Topics include: Skills Building Approach to the Conceptual and Theoretical Development of Supervisory Management; Use of Appropriate Management Tools to Build and Maintain Quality Performance by Their Subordinates. The course melds traditional management practices with contemporary business organization structures acknowledging the special factors that impact performance in today’s competitive workplace.
