This course views food science as an integrated science that relies on an understanding of the concepts central to food chemistry, physics, and biology in order to appreciate the intricate relationships between food, our bodies, and ultimately, the quality of health associated with our lives. Food Science is designed to develop educated consumers who know what their diet should consist of and why.
